The #OurNorthEnd Community Seed Fund is an exciting new initiative of the Cradle to Career Community Working Group, where £15,000 is available to support community-led decision making about what families need to support them to thrive.
Don’t worry if you aren’t a registered charity or a Community Interest Company (CIC) – this money is available to local people who have great ideas to support their community!
Individuals and community organisations can apply for one-off grants of up to £1,000 for activities or experiences in North Birkenhead that will have a lasting impact on their community, creating great relationships now and in the future. Funding can also be used to test out a new idea that you have had but never had the opportunity to give it a go.
Decisions about what to fund will be made by a panel of local people.
Before making an application, we would recommend giving the ‘What you need to know’ page a quick read through to ensure you are eligible able to apply. You can also find it at the bottom of this page for quick access.
Applying for the grant is quick and easy! The application form can be downloaded here or you can submit an application online using this link. We are also very open to receiving applications in various formats including video and audio. These can be sent via WhatsApp to 07518 903 977.
The deadline for applications is 9am on Monday 28th June 2021.
To ensure everyone has the opportunity to ask questions, we’re hosting three ‘how to apply’ Zoom chats;
For further information or to book your place on one of the ‘how to apply’ chats, you can contact Kelly on 07518 903 977 or email [email protected]
When Covid-19 restrictions allow, the Cradle to Career team will be based at St James Centre. If you need any assistance in your application, or if you’re from North Birkenhead and would like to nominate a local community group for this grant, please don’t wait to get in touch.
