Launching Collaborative Partnerships

Are you a local community organisation or service? Do you have an idea for a pilot project that will bring community organisations together to better support children, young people and families in North Birkenhead? The Cradle to Career Collaboration Fund can help!

What is the Collaboration Fund?

The Cradle to Career Collaboration Fund is a fund for local community organisations and services working together in North Birkenhead. We want to fund exciting and creative pilot projects that bring organisations together to improve available services for children, young people and families in North Birkenhead.

For more information on the Service Collaboration Fund and its specifications and requirements for eligibility, please read through the Collaboration Fund: Grant Policy Information for Applicants document.

How does it work?

You and partner organisation(s) can apply for a joint grant of between £10,000 and £25,000 to deliver a pilot project that will do the following for children, young people and families in North Birkenhead:

⇨ Address needs identified in and with a community

⇨ Plug gaps in existing services to enable a truly cohesive local offer to be developed

⇨ Be easy to access for children, young people and families

⇨ Take creative and preventative approaches to local provision

To apply for the fund, complete and submit an application form by 5pm on 4th April 2022.  Applications that are below £10,000 or above £25,000 will be considered but may not be approved.

Our Collaboration Fund Panel will review applications in April and make decisions on successful projects to award funds to.

What happens if my project is successful?

We will contact you in April to let you know if your application has been successful. All successful projects will need to sign an agreement with Right to Succeed (who manage Cradle to Career) and agree how we will share monitoring and impact reporting information. We will organise a payment schedule and regular partner check-ins to support you along the way.

Successful projects can start from 1st June 2022. Our funding will be for up to 1 year pilot period during which we will support you to monitor and demonstrate the impact of your work. All projects must finish by 30th June 2023

What can we do for you?

If your project is successful, we can help you plan to make it sustainable after the 12 month funding period is complete. We can do this in a number of ways; from helping your organisation demonstrate the impact of your project by designing an evaluation framework, to assisting you to identify alternate funding opportunities from our extensive network and beyond. Options for assistance in sustainability planning can be discussed in the final 6 months of project delivery.
